Tasked by Training Wing One to assess the quality of its product — Naval Aviators delivered to the Fleet — this analysis grew to cover all of Task Group Tactical and the Total Strike syllabus. It tackled three questions: how Fleet Replacement Squadrons rank T-45 graduates, what drives UNSAT grades, and whether attrition has common, fixable causes. It delivers recommendations at every level of the training command. Bottom line: the data to improve training already exists — standardizing how it's collected, analyzed, and acted on could pay off substantially at little to no cost.
